Copa América: Activating passion.
To celebrate Copa América 2025, adidas set out to make a bold statement at its flagship store on New York’s 5th Avenue. The objective: honor global football culture—the heartbeat of the sport—and elevate the joy, pride, and unity that come with wearing your team’s colors. With this in mind, the entire ground floor and all window displays were transformed to deliver one clear message: “Our Shirt. Our Team.” Translated across multiple languages and displayed prominently throughout the space, this motif became the foundation of the experience. The design system drew inspiration from the most iconic symbol of fandom—the jersey itself. From this insight, we developed a dynamic array of colorful banners that filled the space with energy and movement, creating an immersive environment that invited fans to celebrate their teams. Extended into a full retail toolkit, this flexible system was designed to scale to other adidas retail locations, adapting seamlessly to varying footprints while maintaining the spirit and vibrancy of the flagship expression. The result was a unified celebration of Copa América that blended sport and culture—rooted in the excitement of the game.
