And those breakthroughs only happen when employees are allowed to explore and lean into the passions that drive them. However, future talent is in short supply. The greatest problem faced by Motive and all game studios employing designers is how to find and hire good ones. Enter Cinco. To attract the next generation of talent we set out to re-center Motive’s narrative and visual identity around the exciting culture and creativity they cultivate. The visual language metaphorically combines the artistic and logical aspects of game creation—the left and right sides of the brain working in unison. It symbolizes the balance of intelligence and imagination infused into every aspect of the game experience. Like the metaphor it embodies, the visual system adapts to prioritize either emotive game content or brand-focused needs. The overarching narrative: working here means influencing games, shaping Motive's culture, and achieving your next personal creative breakthrough.
