Not Impossible Labs
Bring music to life for the deaf community.
Not Impossible Labs set out to solve a powerful problem: how to make the experience of music accessible to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community—not just through sound, but through the body. To support this vision, they needed a brand identity that was as scalable and sensory-rich as the technology itself. The challenge extended beyond branding—it included creating an industrial design and experience platform that could be shared, adapted, and expanded by creators across artistic disciplines.

The simple yet expressive identity system was inspired by the essence of sound itself. Gridded patterns of color and line were developed to visually echo the reverberations of music, aligning with the groundbreaking technology that transforms audio into tactile vibrations felt across the body.

We helped Not Impossible Labs launch the Creator Network, a platform that lets artists create their own vibration and light patterns. Workshops in New York and an exhibition at the Museum of the Moving Image show how this technology can be used in film and art installations.
